SMX is seeking an experienced cloud professional with contact center experience located on the West Coast USA. The Solution Architect – Amazon Connect will design, implement, and manage Amazon Connect contact center environments. The Solutions Architect will build end to end contact center solutions including adjacent AWS service integrations to solve customer’s business challenges. As a SME, you will lead the design, development and implementation of Amazon Connect cloud-based contact center solutions. Services include: Call and Queue Flows, Agent Experience, Call Recording, Metrics, Contact Lens, and CTR Data analysis. * Serves as a consultative technology point of contact in the planning, design, implementation and maintenance of Amazon Connect. Serves as the technology consultant to determine which services are used and how they utilize and integrate those services * Acts as a SME for resolution of customer incidents and new implementation requests * Assist with creating winning customer proposals, including technical solution designs, level of effort (LOE) estimates, and customer presentations Required Skills: * US Citizenship required for work under DoD contracts. * US Government security clearance preferred or clearable * Must be located in western US or Hawaii * Experience solutioning with Amazon Connect and adjacent services such as Lambda, S3, DDB, and Lex * Experience with broad set of AWS and cloud services * Solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations * Comfortable interacting with customer leadership in consultative capacity * Modern DevOps tools and techniques including Git and CI/CD Required Experience: * 5+ years of IT and Cloud experience * 2+ years of enterprise experience with Contact Center Technologies such as IVR, VOIP, WEBRTC, or telephony * 2+ years of enterprise experience of Amazon Connect platform with Technical Architecture, Design and Development skills * 2+ years of enterprise experience using Amazon Connect contact flows integrated with Python, Lambda and JSON * 2+ years of enterprise experience building applications using AWS services (Cloud Watch, Kinesis, S3, Lex, Poly) * AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate certification or higher preferred #LI-Remote #cjpost SMX is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
