What you will be doing:

The Project Manager Lead is responsible for planning and coordinating all IT activities vital to support and implement various information systems and associated technology at their assigned sites.

Including network, devices, application, and local systems in areas around Imaging, Pharmacy, Lab.

Managing the following support and project responsibilities: Troubleshooting, vendor management, escalation, system requirements definition, process and/or workflow redesign and vendor evaluation, implementation coordination with operations and other EIS departments, as well as transition to support functions.

Responsible for developing and running detailed schedules, status reports, project Power Point presentations, and escalation of critical issues.

Ensures local systems and infrastructure or maintained and supported fully thru local, enterprise and vendor resources.

Ensures contract compliance, risk analysis, project scope, implementation management, and support transition.

Responsible for working with our operational partners in developing and planning the project timeline including all project phases-requirements, workflow, Q/A and testing, end-user training, go-live readiness, and support.

Projecting resource requirements, ensuring appropriate assignment of resources to each project/support phase, adding/deleting resources, and has overall responsibility for completion of the project.

Leads and handles the project within established time and budget parameters.

Provides informative and timely status reports using department reporting procedures for both internal EIS and external operational customers.

Experience Requirements:
1+ years’ experience in Project Management, using Project Management Institute and/or ITIL principles.

Healthcare environment experience required; Managing IT Infrastructure projects in a Healthcare organization.

(preferred) Experience with support of clinical systems in Lab, Pharmacy, and Imaging.

(preferred) Demonstrated experience in systems analysis and vendor/customer interactions.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, project development, and management software.

Must understand the needs of the business both local and enterprise and be passionate about contributing for the good of all.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Healthcare, Business, or Technical field.
