Senior Workday Solution Architect

Job Summary AECOM is seeking a Senior Workday Solution Architect for our Workday application.

This is a remote/virtual position that can be based from a variety of locations across the US or Canada.

The Senior Workday Solution Architect is a critical role to our HR Technology team.

In this very important role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Workday team members as well as our internal customers across HR and our global business regions to improve our digital HR experience and Workday adoption.

Key Responsibilities include: Serve as an authority on Workday’s Core HCM platform Partner with customers to develop technology solutions that help to optimize and automate HR processes Use business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements and inform partners of options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems Drive projects from exploration and POC to implementation; providing expertise, guidance, and delivery support Complete hands-on configuration when necessary to deliver on business objectives Execute our global Workday technology strategy through needs identification, requirements translation and collaboration to execute Workday projects across the globe.

Articulation of business requirements to the technical team Engage with global HR Technology team members to knowledge share and ensure process consistency Engage with Workday Community to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs Keep current on Workday’s roadmap and upcoming functionality to evolve and improve the overall platform and user experience Support HR/Business stakeholders through technology projects (e.g.

enhancements & system upgrades) from planning to configuration to testing and implementation
– providing leadership, functional and technical guidance Support global Workday technology strategy and roadmap by partnering with Workday technology colleagues and outsourced teams Provide strategic insights on Workday HCM best-practices inclusive of new feature assessment, system settings and enhancement opportunities Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise Who You Are You are highly motivated, detail oriented, dependable, and organized with a customer service focus You have a proven ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and deadlines You are comfortable working in a complex and global organization You are able to be flexible and adaptable, evolving and adapting quickly to new business initiatives You have experience in agile development methodology and a fast-paced working environment building enterprise products You have a demonstrated ability to lead and work with multi-functional teams across time zones, You have significant project oversight/program management experience related to Workday HCM configuration You have robust experience supporting a multi-country employee base You have a continuous improvement mindset.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The midpoint of the salary range is $128,485 annually.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant HRIS experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education At least 5 years of Workday technology development/configuration preferably in a professional services organization (or support of a professional services organization) Deep understanding and experience across multiple Workday modules/areas including HCM Core Strong holistic understanding of Workday HCM technology trends and the acumen to transform this understanding into meaningful strategy and action Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Oracle, Kenexa Brass Ring, Cognos, SharePoint, Service Now Experience with additional Workday modules such as Security, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Reporting Additional Information: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
