You Are:

An expert at creating cost transformation solutions using Zero-based budgeting.

For our clients Zero-based Mindset (ZBx) is the go-to tool for driving cost transformation.

In fact, Accenture Strategy research found that the world’s largest companies have used ZBx to achieve an average reduction of 15 percent in their cost base and bottom-line savings.

And a majority of companies redirected those cost savings in an effort to support their growth agenda.

Now more and more leaders realize strategic prioritization requires a 360-degree view on future opportunities – one that considers social and environmental impact alongside financial return to address the expectations of customers and stakeholders, mitigate risk, and maintain trust. 

The Work:

  • Reset our clients’ cost base and improve their working capital across a wide range of industries
  • Help organizations formulate and implement actionable strategies to drive growth and productivity through enterprise-wide transformation with focus on strategic cost reduction, operating and delivery model strategy and global business services
  • Drive forensic spend visibility, cost-conscious mindsets, and sustainable savings through innovative and digital solutions enabling organizations to fuel growth
  • Help clients achieve long-term success by drawing up practical road maps that help them carry out strategy, manage change, monitor, and gauge processes, and rectify issues if needed.
  • Help clients reallocate spend to achieve the maximum return on investment
  • Solve challenging problems with innovative solutions
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen
  • Explore data to come up with meaningful insights 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in cost transformation, turnaround and/or performance improvement
  • Minimum 4 years consulting/internal advisory experience in one or more of the following:
  • Zero based budgeting
  • Cash and capital management
  • Cost/benefit analysis
  • Performance budgeting
  • Strategic cost reduction/transformation
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Bonus Points:

  • Functional experience in one of the following areas is a plus: Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology
  • Experience in one of the following industries: industrials, high tech, retail/CPG, pharmaceuticals/health care, and/or financial services
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI) is a plus
  • MBA a plus

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $111,000
– $305,000.
