Senior Project Architect

Our Florida Operations are currently seeking a Senior Project Architect to help build the architectural practice in the region with a special focus in the federal market in addition to supporting existing markets and initiatives.

This position could be in Miami, FL, Tampa, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Raleigh, NC, Columbia, SC, Richmond, VA or possible other SE locations.

This is an excellent growth opportunity to hone leadership and sales abilities in a wide variety of public and private sector markets, including but not limited to federal, transportation, industrial, and public works.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepares and directs production of architectural working drawings, specifications and related project documents Perform and directs construction administration duties Work collaboratively in a team environment Develop presentations, designs and technical solutions through all phases of a project.

Prepare proposals and assist with marketing and managing clients.

Work in collaboration with Gannett Fleming regional leaders to develop sound strategies to build client base and drive growth with a focus in the federal market.

Manage and drive growth in the architectural practice in the region.

Participate in the firm’s architectural practice leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications 5-year Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and architectural registration is required; 15 years’ related experience required Experience in the federal and transportation markets a plus LEED AP and DBIA Certifications a plus High proficiency in REVIT with experience in both design and construction documentation is required Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite Experience with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino/3D Max or similar is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Must be dynamic, creative and detail oriented Must be able to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams where overlap of client project work exists.
