Job Summary

AECOM is seeking to fill an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect role with responsibility in creating, reviewing, and documenting IT standards, architectures, and roadmaps in support of AECOM’s IT and business strategies across a wide range of IT initiatives.

This is a primarily remote/virtual position that can be based from a variety of US locations, not limited to those listed.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated abilities to:

Manage multiple high visibility, critical projects

Communicate technical strategies to non-technical executives

Translate business goals into IT strategy/roadmaps

Produce innovative solutions to complex problems

Provide technical expertise on a wide variety of infrastructure topics

Lead inter-departmental technical teams

Technical Skills:

Network – Routing, SDWAN, Firewalls/IDP, VPN

Security tools (CASB, MDM, SEIM)

Familiarity with diagraming tools (Visio), Power Shell, and Power Apps

BA/BS in IT or related discipline plus 10 years of relevant mid to upper level infrastructure roles (servers, virtualization, Cloud, etc.) experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within an engineering firm or consulting services company is preferred.

At least 5 years of networking experience in a multi-national organization is preferred

At least 3 years of architecture experience is preferred

Leadership experience in cross-functional roles is preferred

Experience with Office365/Microsoft Cloud, AWS, database (MSSQL/Oracle), PKI, and/or Voice is preferred.

Relevant industry certifications a plus
