ResManage roadmap and lifecycle of the ERP platform ensuring reliability, security, and compliance of the individual SAP and non-SAP components of the platform Accountable for providing technical guidance to the Basis team and the establishment of processes, tools, standards, to successfully carry out the platform activities Define, architect, operate, and maintain the ERP platform in alignment with Amgen IS City Planning strategy Migrate and operate OnPrem ERP platform to the cloud infrastructure such as AWS & Azure Lead platform projects from inception to completion by applying the agile methods, leveraging DevOps processes & automation wherever applicable Perform daily operational activities to improve the platform stability including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and actively leading problem determination with root cause analysis Coordinate and execute the implementation of support packages, release upgrades, kernel upgrades, system refreshes and other lifecycle activities of the SAP ecosystem leveraging automation capabilities of Solution Manager, LaMa, TDMS, ChaRM, etc.
Mature and maintain appropriate ERP platform service metrics, key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and service level agreements Operationalize cybersecurity strategy for continuous monitoring, prioritization, and the remediation of vulnerabilities in ERP platform Develop a deep understanding of Global ERP’s business needs, processes, and environment to enforce GxP compliance, data governance, and security policies as they are applicable to the ERP platformponsibility 6 Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
The professional we seek is a person with these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications: Masters degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience OR Bachelors degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience OR Associate degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience Preferred Qualifications: 10 or more years of architecture and administration experience in SAP Basis: planning, sizing, designing complex landscapes, upgrades, and cloud migration Certified SAP Basis architect that can lead automation & integration capabilities of SAP and non-SAP systems OnPrem and in Cloud, SAP BTP, Ariba CIG, Data Intelligence, Fiori, etc.
Extensive hands-on experience with the SAP landscape (OnPrem and Cloud), specifically in installing, configuring, and supporting systems such as SAP ECC (SoH), S/4 HANA, ATTP, GTS, GRC, BW, ATC, Gateway, PO, Portal, GIS, Redwood, Onapsis, and third-party software add-ons Develop reference architectures and roadmap of SAP landscape in cloud and hybrid scenarios incorporating the best design patterns of storage, network, cloud, virtualization, high availability technologies and disaster recovery capabilities Lead and drive ERP business continuity activities (e.g., disaster recovery) to ensure it meets the needs of the business HANA database administration, printer administration, job administration, and barcode scanner (RF Guns) administration Expertise in Unix administration to support high-availability cluster solutions for SAP systems (load-balancing, disaster recovery, etc.) Knowledge and experience in managing and administering SAP systems in the validated (GxP) and SOX environments with a strong focus on quality Ability to communicate clearly with peers, customers, and the senior management Additional Job DescriptionAdditional Job Description Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
