In this role you will work as part of a team responsible for performing tasks and executing projects related to failures in the built environment.nn nnYour responsibilities will include:nn nnManaging projects and a team of consultants during investigationsInspection, analysis and determination of root causes of building performance failuresConducting analytical and computer problem solvingPerforming field investigations and diagnostic surveysAssignment will require the ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business and industrynn nnYou will have the following background and qualificationsnn nnCalifornia Architectural License or in the process of obtaining a California Architectural LicenseMasters or Ph.D.
in Architecture or Architectural EngineeringBackground in the investigation of building failures and/or diagnostic testing of building componentsExcellent and creative problem-solving abilityOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented in taking field notes and in drafting Architectural detailsAbility to work independently as well as lead and work in multi-disciplinary teamsStrong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environmentnn
