We are currently seeking a Managing Architectural Engineer for our Buildings & Structures Practice in Los Angeles, CA.

In this role you will work as part of a team responsible for performing tasks and executing projects related to failures in the built environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects and a team of consultants during investigations
  • Inspection, analysis and determination of root causes of building performance failures
  • Conducting analytical and computer problem solving
  • Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
  • Assignment will require the ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business and industry

You will have the following background and qualifications

  • California Architectural License or in the process of obtaining a California Architectural License
  • Masters or Ph.D.

    in Architecture or Architectural Engineering

  • Background in the investigation of building failures and/or diagnostic testing of building components
  • Excellent and creative problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented in taking field notes and in drafting Architectural details
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
