The JavaScript Software Architect will work closely with the NodeJS development, QA, and executive teams to define and maintain best practices in systems and JavaScript software design, development, and deployment, balancing short-term and long-term needs and strategies. Ensuring solutions are secure and compliant with applicable standards and policies such as PCI and GDPR, and scalable and performant, accommodating millions of users worldwide. This is a hands-on JavaScript Software Architect role. Required Skills Experience bull 10+ years in software engineering architecture with expert knowledge working as an architect or engineer in complex, distributed, enterprise-scale development organizations bull Delivery of one or more complex, distributed architecture projects is required bull Demonstrated experience and expert knowledge working as an architect or engineer in complex, distributed, enterprise-scale development organizations bull Applied knowledge in at least one major public cloud provider bull Broad, demonstrable knowledge of enterprise software components, including databases (relational and non-relational), virtualization, containerization, CICD, automation bull Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with senior management and executives bull Experience with software and cloud security architecture concerns and relevant technical aspects bull Experience diagnosing and analyzing complex distributed systems preferred What You Will Be Doing Formulation of software quality objectives for technical solutions, Documentation and evaluation of multiple network-level technical solutions, Preparation and maintenance of rollout strategies for architectural solutions, Guidance and active mentorship for all squad members, Review of architecture-related work within a squad, Guidance in technical matters for product owners, Organization of architectural meetings within a squad, Coding most difficult parts of the system (50 capacity).
