Job DescriptionResponsibilities for this position will include installing conduit, wire and panels at various locations such as rock quarries, manufacturing plants, water towers, booster pump stations, and wastewater lift stations.
Electricians will be trained in wiring and troubleshooting all types of pumps and motors.

On-the-job training is provided to improve the electrical and mechanical skills of all our Electricians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMust be able to safely use hand tools such as conduit benders, wire pullers and similar toolsMust be able to use electrical devices such as multimeters, amp clamps and insulation testersKnowledge of electrical theory and NEC codeComply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report all unsafe activity.Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.Self-motivation to complete projectsMust have a good Driving RecordMust pass a Drug Screen and Physical Bonus ExperienceAbility to troubleshoot electrical failuresKnowledge of Electrical Control SystemsIndustrial electrical experienceGeneral understanding of rotating equipment The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of electrical experience Wages determined by experience and skill set Additionally, the following skills and abilities are needed: Valid Driver LicenseExperience with use of a computer/iPadAbility to work with minimum directionAdaptability to changing prioritiesGood communication skills, both oral and writtenSelf-starter and self-reliantExcellent problem-solving skills Austin Armature Works provides a comprehensive and competitive benefit package.
