Job Summary
:
Responsible to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
Implement procedures and tasks as provided by foreman, project superintendent, or project manager.
Run jobs under $50,000 with no more than 3 subordinates.
Complete assigned tasks in a safe and workmanlike manner.
Assist foreman in oversight of apprentice labor to assure safety and quality.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals when applicable.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes
when necessary.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other senior management.
Be on the On-Call schedule on a rotating basis Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel when applicable.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team when applicable.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools when applicable.
Track project milestones and deliverables when applicable.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Regular attendance and timeliness Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:
Familiar with the Electrical industry standards and codes Prior experience in the installation and maintenance of Electrical equipment and supporting structures.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
is essential.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Be able to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Education, Experience And / Or Licenses
High school diploma or equivalent experience required Must hold an active General Electrician Certification Card from the state of California 3 years commercial Journeyman experience within the industry
