Job Description:Management responsibilities for a team of engineers, including setting goals, timecard responsibilities, development plans, and training.Drive teams work to completion and be responsible for delivery and metrics of the team.Maintain and improve the process around which work is completed.Responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systemsPerforms engineering RF/analog/digital design and measurement tasks as well as operational tests and fault isolation on radio systemsUses a variety of test and measurement equipment to evaluate radio equipment performanceCreate test strategies and specifications for new and revised assembliesPrepare test and diagnostic software, design test fixtures, complete test procedures for new and existing productsDevelop, debug, optimize test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStandDocument test hardware and software using computer based toolsInstruct technicians in the completion of test requirements as described aboveEnsures production goals & metrics are met from a test perspectiveCreate/Update test station documentation items such as MTP’s, Station BOM’s, AMR’s, and TSW’sQualifications:BS degree in Engineering or Science field8 years engineering or process experiencePreferred Skills:BS/MS degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Engineering Management.Experience working in an Agile Scrum development process.Experience in digital, analog, and RF circuitry design/troubleshootMeasurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and metersUnderstanding of software defined radio products and communicationsExpertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, coverage analysisMust be a self starter, and able to work successfully with minimal supervisionNI LabVIEW/TestStand development experience (CLAD or CLD certification)
