As a key leader within the Office of Health Informatics and Analytics (OHIA), you will partner with the Chief Data Officer and other OHIA Directors to plan and execute enterprise-wide analytic projects and initiatives in such areas as patient care, population health, precision health, quality, marketing, patient experience, revenue cycle, and research enablement. Your role will involve leading and mentoring developers, data architects, and data engineers to leverage best practices to define and develop best-in-class architectures, frameworks, development standards, and data quality. You will:

  • Drive and promote innovation, challenge the status quo and apply a holistic approach to our current and future needs
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, innovations, and services
  • Lead the data architecture team in strategic planning, architecture, data modeling, metadata management, ETL design, development and deployment
  • Oversee the integrity of the processes that collect and manage information
  • Direct the data governance team in developing processes/policies to integrate all aspects of data governance into analytic and data products
  • Managing the roadmap for the Collibra platform including implementation, configuration, and management of the tool
  • Provide guidance to Centers of Excellence across the health system to ensure data integrity and standardization of all analytic products
  • Drive alignment of IT processes with business functions to improve flexibility, large-scale reuse, comprehensibility, traceability, and visibility of data assets
