Data Architect

IntroductionASML US, LP brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips.

We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers
– the world’s leading chipmakers
– to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Wilton, CT, Chandler, AZ, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA.Job MissionASML and its subsidiaries, including Cymer Light Source (CLS), are critically dependent on their ability to leverage machine data from products and equipment sold and deployed at customer sites. This data, how it is processed, enriched, and consumed is essential to improve product design, performance and availability and to drive efficiencies in customer service and operations. The mission of the Systems Architect is to design, update, and operate robust, reliable, and secure machine data foundation and data processing applications that can scale and adapt to accommodate a broad and consistent flow of new business requirements in functionality, data volume, user consumption, etc.The selected candidate will be part of the ASML IT Big Data and Analytics (BDA) US team and be responsible for the technical architecture of Cymer Light Source machine data applications and platforms, will contribute to new capability/technology assessments and pilots, and consult/support day to day operations of specific solutions within the Cymer information management landscape. This hands-on solution application architecture role also entails additional strategic and operational responsibilities to contribute to the definition of Cymer’s direction for information management, analytics, and Big Data.ASML is a crucial player in a fast moving semiconductor industry which means change is a constant.
