Application Architect

ADP is hiring an Application Architect.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of a revolution in the next generation of Human Capital Management solutions.

Leveraging your technical foundation, you’ll have a chance to design customer facing applications that will help our customers serve their employees from hire to retire.

Application architects are our first line of defense when building clean, well-factored and quality solutions.

Properly designed software derives from a ‘measure twice, cut once’ mentality and architects enable us to hone requirements in the design process that are thoughtful, detailed and accurate.

As an Application Architect you will design solutions that will be developed by a team of software engineers working on our next-gen Human Capital Management products.

Leverage a variety of tools to deliver software including our innovative low-code visual development platform as well as traditional software languages and technologies.

You will be responsible for designing and configuring software application functionality, including user interfaces, business rules, workflows, and complex logic while creating technical specifications and implementation documents.

You will need to understand client & product requirements and efficiently translate them into application design specifications, software interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logic.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: You will need 5 years of application development & software design experience.

A passion for software design and solutions that scale.

The ability to explain advanced concepts to audiences of varying technical levels and evaluate functional & non-functional requirements and use cases then convert those into application logic, validation rules and data models.

Advanced knowledge of one of the following languages: Python, Ruby, C#, Java, C, Go or any object oriented programming language.

Proficient with relational databases, particularly modeling entity relationships and understanding SQL.

Demonstrated experience documenting/configuring solutions for complex business and data intensive systems.
