Description:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMechanical engineer for power generation, central utility, and thermal distribution projectsAssure designs are complete, accurate and in accordance with good engineering practiceAnalyze mechanical systems (overall heat and mass balance, steam, water and airflow systems).Execute calculations, equipment selection, piping and ductwork design for construction documentsWrite reports and equipment and material specificationsAttend field visits, meet with clients and vendors as necessarySupport the Lead Mechanical on large projects and serve as Lead Mechanical on smaller projectsSupervise designers and other team membersAct as project engineer working closely with other disciplines civil, structural, electrical etc.Involved in all aspects of design from visibility status to detailed design to testing/commissioningProject scope: paper mills, casino, food & beverage, biopharmaceuticals, landfill gasSkills:thermodynamics, hydraulics, power engineering, caesar, engineering, mechanical, power generation, utility project, design, construction document, project engineering, piping, hvac, biopharmaceutical, landfill gas, mechanical engineering, mechanical design, autocadTop Skills Details:thermodynamics,hydraulics,power engineering,caesar,engineering,mechanicalAdditional Skills & Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor or Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering RequiredProfessional commitment to sustainability is preferredMinimum 8 to 10 years experiencePE license preferred or actively pursuing license having passed the FE examExperience Level:Intermediate Level About Actalent:Actalent connects passion with purpose.
