VP Creative Services

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is as good as it gets: Creative Services Director at a Company affiliate station in perhaps the most competitive and dynamic market in the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing exceptional promotional, branding and marketing strategies for both KTTV and KCOP news and entertainment programming; providing leadership for the creative services team, developing and closely monitoring the stations use of on-air promotional time; establishing a proposed budget for outside media and working with the stations’ ad agency to see that media goals have been met at the most efficient cost; develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance station competitiveness on all platforms. This person will be the station’s main point of contact for the Company network, syndicator and corporate marketing, and establishing and monitoring the graphic look of both stations as well as acting as the liaison with other departments, TVHO, and the GM. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of three years previous experience as a Director of Creative Services at a top 25 market television station or equivalent experience, a creative track record, and demonstrate the proven ability to harness and leverage the best from their creative team.

We are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee brand strategy and execution, someone who understands how to develop strategic, multi-media marketing plans and is able to think differently to develop new approaches to promoting local content.
