We’re looking for a Product Designer to join the Spectacles Product Experience team to design innovative mobile app experiences for the next generation of cameras and wearable computers.
What you’ll do:

Collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers to build out complementary mobile-app features for existing and future Snap Lab products

Conceive and define viable product requirements for mobile interfaces related to our Hardware products

Work directly with Prototypers, Engineers and UX Researchers to implement prototypes, provide feedback, execute user tests, and iterate on designs based on the data and user feedback

Document and deliver the final design specifications to partner engineering teams and champion the integration and quality assurance of those designs

Identify the needs of Spectacles users and design beautiful, simple, innovative, and intuitive experiences and flows

Help define the short and long-term roadmap for your product area

Regularly give and receive feedback on designs and strategic product decisions

Communicate and pitch your ideas and concepts to product stakeholders

Present your work directly to the CEO
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to design and prototype interactive mobile experiences
-
Ability to think at a high level about product strategy
-
Strong visual design skills and passion for interaction design
-
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
-
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
-
5+ years experience designing and shipping mobile applications
-
A portfolio showcasing your work and strong mobile design skills
-
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Adobe XD, or other design tool
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience and familiarity with the unique needs of hardware products, and their integration with mobile apps over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
-
Experience with both creative and analytical design thinking
-
Experience working with cross-functional teams

Passion for Snapchat and Spectacles products!
