UX Designer II

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA that is seeking a remote UX Designer. Summary: Our organization has an immediate requirement for a Contract-UX/UI Visual Designer to join their team and who can solve complex design challenges across a suite of digital products. We are looking for a candidate who has hands on team player that can work easily with multiple stakeholders including Design, Product, Project Management, Developers, Marketing, Business and Compliance. This person can create engaging visual content that communicates brand and user needs with standard application designs for multiple devices as well as produce digital UI assets including low/high-fi user flows, complex UI design systems and interactive Axure prototypes. They will also have the ability to translate business goals and KPIs into smart, tactical design solutions and to convert designs from requirements based on cross-team feedback into consistent layouts, templates and uniform brand of the UI. And above all, this candidate needs to harness UX principles, HCI standards and be able to defend design decisions when challenged.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA degree or higher in either Web Design (OR) combined work experience with web design training, Computer Science and/or HCI
  • 5+ years of experience as UX/UI Designer within a large-scale consumer facing organization, agency, or multi-platform product company
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Be an expert when working with Sketch, InVision and Axure with deep understanding of its features creating prototypes
  • Have a working understanding of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, JIRA, Confluence
  • Prior experience at a fintech or a financial services organization is a plus
  • The selected candidate must be able to work East/West Coast hours
