In this role, you will be the main architect for Ashfall’s open world. You will design landscapes and structures present in the game world, as well as have a hand in designing encounters for those locations. You will play a key role in making the world of Ashfall come to life.

Responsibilities

Working with blueprint scripting and level building tools in Unreal Engine 5.

Running design meetings, creating pitches and running company playtests.
Requirements
-
5+ years of experience as a game designer on a AAA project at any level, or at least 1 shipped title.

A strong knowledge of what makes an open world engaging–the kind of place you keep wanting to come back to again and again.

An understanding of the development process from concept to completion.
Bonus Points

Experience mentoring other designers as a lead or senior member of a design team.

Familiarity with testing strategies such as focus testing, A/B, and player data analysis.

Familiarity with material editing, lighting and sequencer in Unreal.
