We are seeking a Senior Level Designer to join our Interactive team at BRON Digital. BRON Digital, is a state-of-the-art virtual production and service company, that utilizes the Unreal Engine to develop and produce long-form animation for series television, short-form content, and motion pictures. This division leverages BRONs extensive experience producing traditional CGI animation to apply and adapt the best practices of linear animation pipelines and marry those with Unreal Engine centered, virtual production workflows. The move allows BRON to broaden and expand its production and produce high quality content with much faster turnarounds. The candidate will be based in USA (working 9am – 6pm PST schedule), but this position is fully remote. Requirements Role & Responsibilities Work together with the design lead and art team to conceive, implement, and iterate on core design and level building methodologies and practices Block out and build levels in Unreal 5, and iterate through playtesting and feedback from team members Implement and script gameplay components in Unreal 5’s blueprint system Work with the art team to ensure levels are up to the highest visual quality, while ensuring the levels are fun to play Take full level ownership for multiple levels: from paper design, through the gray box phase, scripting, iteration, debugging, optimization until the game ships Lend your design experience, beyond level design, to other design disciplines (gameplay, systems, economy) Provide troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving assistance to other areas of game design and art Proactively identify cross-discipline challenges and risks to the project and offer solutions Qualifications Proven experience and expertise in level design in the Unreal 5 Engine Proven experience and expertise using Unreals blueprint system 5 Years of professional level design experience At least 2 successfully shipped AAA Mobile titles where you fully owned multiple gameplay levels Intermediate knowledge of Maya or other major 3D modeling programs Intermediate knowledge of, and professional experience with, game design scripting Intermediate knowledge of, and professional experience with, version control software Artistic background in 2D and 3D Ability to process, understand, and implement both artistic and technical feedback Ability to describe your game experience as a player, and what makes games fun to play High work ethic and self-motivated Benefits Competitive compensation package, including Extended Health Benefits Holiday closure between Christmas and New Year 7 health days per year (prorated per any partial year, and/or contract length)
