Maintain and nurture the footwear design direction h across COLLECTION FTW Design Team, Development, Product Marketing and Sample Room.
Influence and function as a leading voice in developing current and future footwear models and initiatives across a wide range of categories along-side other Senior Design Leaders.Key Responsibilities:* Lead in designing and executing models/initiatives that assist in bringing Ye’s vision to life* Steer and drive designs from conceptualization to commercialization process* Create product design presentations: physical and digital* Manage high level of detail within key franchises (innovative explorations into reimagining franchises through shape, construction, function and materializations)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Ability to lead a team through complex and ambiguous projects while maintaining positivity, productivity, and speed* Ability to lead a team and quickly shift focus when Ye/BU design direction changes* Problem solving attitude & can-do personality.
Proven ability to find success through challenges* High level understanding of the product creation process from conceptualization to commercialization* Strong knowledge and use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)* Familiarity with 3D software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Houdini, Solidworks and Gravity Sketch ideal* Familiarity with 3D Design capabilities a plusRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university in a relevant Design subject or equivalent combination of education and experience* 6 years of practical experience in design environment (Footwear/ Apparel/ Accessories/Color)Client DescriptionOur client strives to be the global leader in the sporting goods industry with brands built on a passion for sports and a sporting lifestyle.
