AECOM is seeking a Landscape Designer for immediate employment in our Los Angeles studio. Job Summary/Responsibilities
Play an active role in the design process from concept through construction
Assist in the preparation of design graphics and technical drawings
Collaborate with project team members across disciplines
Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture or related from an LAAB accredited institution or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Landscape Architecture
1 – 3 years of professional Landscape Architecture experience
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-motivated and the ability to proactively solve challenges
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing
Proficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino3D)
Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams.
A commitment to design excellence and a passion for building a better world.
Actively pursuing licensure
LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials
Familiarity with Southern California native and climate-appropriate plant communities
Experience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit, Grasshopper3D, ArcGIS)
Experience with advanced visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)
