Graphic Designer

AMASS is looking for a collaborative, creative, and motivated graphic designer who is ready to support graphic design efforts for an innovative and fast-moving brand across platforms. The Graphic Designer will play a key role in the execution, delivery, and continuous improvement of marketing content and brand collateral for both print and digital projects. You will work cross-functionally to support our Digital, PR, and Creative teams. This role will include heavy graphic production and requires high productivity and accuracy. Applicants should be comfortable taking direction from other team members, and should also expect to take the initiative to deepen their understanding of current and emerging design and visual trends. This role will report directly to the Marketing Designer.The Graphic Designer will be extremely organized, able to bring energy to their work, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Daily tasks will include designing digital assets (such as mailers and website assets), print assets (such as account collateral and sales tools), and file management. The right candidate is passionate about visual identity and brand marketing and is eager to jump on the rare opportunity to grow and scale a young brand while deepening their knowledge of design.This role will be based in Los Angeles, California.RESPONSIBILITIESConceptualize, plan, and produce a wide range of creative material including websites, emails, landing pages, ad campaigns, web and video content, and brand collateral across multiple touchpointsBuild digital marketing assets, support the maintenance and growth of our digital channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and PinterestBuild wholesale assets, event promotional materials, media kits, packaging inserts, and any additional assets as needed to support our wholesale channel and PR needsIncorporate feedback from other channels to iterate and refine our digital and print assetsESSENTIAL QUALITIES & SKILLSExpertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoshopExecute high-quality design for multiple categories used for print, web, and social; maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity Experience with retouching and color correcting images to ensure continuity and quality Proficient illustrative skillsStrong typography skillsExperience working across a range of established brand guidelinesAbility to meet tight deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced work environmentHighly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter with a positive attitude and adaptable working style. This is a very hands-on role; you must be able to learn quickly and multi-task, and must be willing to help on any and every levelStrong organizational and time management skills; acute attention to detailA diverse sense of taste with the knowledge necessary to apply to various challengesNICE-TO-HAVESExperience within a startup environment or 1 year agency experience a plus, but not requiredExperience in photoshoot or video productionA degree in Graphic Design, Media, Art, Communications, or related studies preferred
