Executive Chef – Highly Creative Restaurant

An iconic, fun West Hollywood staple is seeking a highly creative Executive Chef to join the team!

Innovation and thinking outside the box is a must in this role.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:
Collaborate with owner on new menu items
Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
Hiring and training of culinary team members
Maintaining proper ordering and inventory
Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Keeping track of new trends in the industry
Participate in weekly manager meeting and follow-up on assigned ideas and/or tasks
Communicate with vendors regarding ordering, new product offerings, pricing, and all other product-related issues
Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a similar position (Head Chef, Executive Kitchen Manager, or Exec Chef)
Astute financial leader able to maintain food and labor costs in a seasonal environment
Passionate and operations oriented
Love for quality ingredients
Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety – this is hugely important
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
California Food Handlers Manager Certification

Pay: $140,000.00
– $160,000.00 per year
