WHAT YOU’LL DO As a valued Strategy Lead you will drive on all aspects of authoring, shaping, and developing our business.

You understand BCG and BCG’s business, with an industry and functional sector range that is broad.

Your role in Business Development is crucial to our success as BCG Design Studios, it directly impacts the type of work we do, how we’re positioned, and how our offerings can profoundly impact BCG’s clients business.

As a Lead Strategist, Business Development and client solutions are your areas of expertise.

You will lead regional Design Studios’ business development and go-to-market strategies.

You will bring business and client insights to our colleagues within Design Studios and you will pursue and grow business opportunities that amplify Design Studios’ strengths and position us as a valued creative partner.

YOU’RE GOOD AT Account Management Manages stakeholders across your accounts.

Implements holistic account strategy and planning with other DS stakeholders.

Contributes to process development, and best practices.

Interfaces with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions for clients.

Keeps senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business.

Prepares and presents monthly, quarterly, and annual financial plans.

Client Leadership You have experience creating and implementing go-to-market strategy plans in collaboration with other teams to meet business objectives.

You’re able to measure and report on the impact generated by go-to-market initiatives.

You develop and foster account relationships.

Working towards account growth & high retention within adefined portfolio of accounts.

You develop a complete understanding of each client’s goals, markets, needs and best opportunities for DS to partner.

You solve client problems and uses conflict management skills to mitigate challenges.Business Development Collaborate and co-lead proposals together with subject matter experts from the team, as well as write and concept statements of work.

In-depth understanding of the resources and processes involved in design driven solutions such as service design, communication & branding strategies, 360 campaigns etc.

Advanced in tools that monitor Business Development process and performance.

Can articulate the rules of engagement for Business Development and team collaboration.

Oversee and ensure DS’s invoicing for sales and delivery credit in the BCG system.

Seek input from peers and more experienced team members, as well as coach less-experienced team members.

Attend, help plan, and contribute to DS and business development community; be a DS ambassador.

You’re eager to scope projects, acting as thought partner to propose solutions together with the subject matter experts to add design as a business driver within high-priority proposals and cases.Teaming You can lead teams to define engagement objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish the engagement approach.

You enjoy managing and mentoring more junior team members from across different geographies.

You can provide mid and senior-level stakeholders with strategic insights and stakeholder analysis YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) You have a bachelor’s, master’s, or similar degree in design or in a field related to communication, such as journalism, marketing, etc.

You have at least 6 years of experience in a creative multinational company or professional services environment, and two or more years of team management experience, all with a strong consultancy orientation.

You have strong experience in key account management and client direction.

You have an excellent understanding of design and design thinking principles and the ability to balance creative quality with delivery expectations.

You are able to help the client services team grow client relationships through strategic recommendations and empathetic consulting.

You have a solid understanding of the various goals and desires that exist among client stakeholders and can define a common and agreed-upon set of goals the team wants to achieve.

You have experience in contributing to a broader team’s process refinement and cross-team collaboration You have excellent English language skills; other languages may be requested in certain locations.
