Art Producer Lead – FRL Creative Team

We are looking for an Art Producer Lead.

This hire will be a visionary lead with the desire and drive to be the primary point of contact for the art production with in FRL Marketing including: photography, CGI render, and illustration.

  • Primary point of contact for production of all photography, CGI render, and illustration for Marketing
  • Has the demonstrable ability to oversee and scale Art Production teams to meet business needs
  • Expert level budget forecasting, resourcing, actualization and spend allocation at a project level
  • Expert level knowledge of photography production, 2D CGI render development, and creative retouching
  • Effectively sources artists for projects and negotiates production rates for the greatest value
  • Maintains tight control of project budgets and deadlines and ensures financial administration is of a high standard and managed in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with Creatives to successfully recommend artistic and photographic talent aligned with their creative vision
  • Engages Vendors (artists/agents/production) to ensure a high quality of artwork is produced timely and cost effectively
  • Keeps abreast of creative talent (photographer/artists), the latest technological developments, trends and techniques in the art world
  • Effectively collaborates with Business Affairs and Legal to ensure materials are acceptable for final delivery and to secure usage rights for talent, art, and third party copyrights & trademarks
  • Intermediate level knowledge of print production, including pre-press retouching and mechanical building
  • Intermediate level knowledge of digital OOH production, including animation, and live video asset production
  • Generalist level knowledge of business affairs, copywriting, community management, design, engineering, measurement science, product development, strategy
  • Leverage existing relationships or create new ones with other Facebook teams in order to ensure production goals and delivery, including cross-functional collaboration, launch, hand-off or sunsetting during a typical product lifecycle
  • Manage presentation and feedback stages with key stakeholders (image selects process, creative retouching)
  • Collaborates with program managers to manage art production timelines for Marketing programs based on project specs and media/distribution plans
  • Develops positive relationships with Creative Teams, Marcom Managers, Product Marketing Teams, Print Production, Business Affairs, and broader cross-functional teams
  • Other producers consult this person as a mentor
  • may or may not have direct reports
  • Helps make the entire producer group better through recruiting, mentoring, process refinement, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 11+ years professional experience in production as a Producer
  • Experience working directly in the technology category, whether in an agency, brand marketing, production vendor or start-up environment
  • Proven track record of repeatedly delivering meaningful results or multiple large-scale systems that have demonstrably impacted a brand’s trajectory
  • Experience working with photography, production and post-production vendors
  • A supervisory knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • A cross-functional manager with experience working autonomously in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment
  • Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and experienced at multi-tasking
  • Experience managing a workload of 1-2 large-scale projects or up to 5 medium-scale projects
