A fashion assistant helps the head designer(s) showcase clothing, products, accessories, and other merchandise directly to consumers or retailers. … Responsibilities typically include attending trade shows, which offer excellent opportunities to network or collect a sample to create your own design

OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE:

  • To aid in managing workflow with designers, such as but not limited to computer work, construction work, and any work related to product or operation management towards the vision of the company

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Communicates with related business
  • Master multiple projects simultaneously and partners regarding product development prioritize progress to the assigned categories; alerts
  • Inventory checks and organizing duties the partners of any unexpected issues and
  • Maybe asked to do Fashion design work negotiates resolutions with factories (creation-cutting, stitching and pattern-
  • Maintain time and action calendars tracking making) based on WIPs and submits * Maybe asked to do social media work
  • Perform other duties as assigned and (produce daily content for InstaStories, apparent. Snapchat, etc. to keep SSJ top of mind)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-4 years of fashion design experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Exceptionally organized with strong time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Must be self-managing
  • Strong creative, conceptual and merchandising skills
  • Excellent color sense

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
