80Twenty: Senior Creative Strategist

Our client is a dynamic social networking service looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to join the Brand and Creative team within global marketing.

As a Creative Strategist, you’ll translate business and marketing goals to into compelling, insights-driven creative opportunities for the North American market and others.

The ideal candidate is a culture and insights specialist and excellent storyteller, who will work closely with the regional marketing teams, creative teammates and external agencies to bring creative expressions of the brand to life.

If you’re a curious thinker who is passionate about cultural trends and all things creative, this is the right company for you.Responsibilities: Partner closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to understand the marketing briefs and business goals, and translate these insights into compelling, creative briefs for the internal creative team.

Help marketing teams identify opportunities to scale creative across various markets.

Lead strategic briefings of external agencies during the RFP process, serving as creative strategy oversight during the RFP Work closely with the marketing intelligence team to find insights that inform creative strategy, but also seek relevant cultural insights from sources beyond the expected – from broad trends in culture, to niche micro-communities.

Partner with marketing intelligence to measure creative effectiveness, and evaluate creative before and after a campaign goes live in order to optimize strategy.

Be a passionate advocate of the importance of culture, trends and diversity and inclusion in all marketing initiatives.

Provide proactive ideas and strategic recommendations for the team based on platform and industry trends.

Individual contributor role with potential to manage in the future.Qualifications Bachelors degree or above, 7 years of professional experience in brand marketing or related marketing role.

Must be a creative thinker and skilled storyteller with exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills.

Possess the ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly in a fast-moving org.

Have a proven track record of operating independently, being organized, having strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously; be solution-oriented when faced with ambiguity.

Team player, strong people skills and ability to engage on all levels of the organization.

Highly experienced with large 360 campaigns.

Deep understanding of the online video and entertainment / entertainment tech landscape.

Ideally from a creative agency or an internal creative team at an internet/tech company, with experience collaborating with large cross-functional teams; experience working at aglobal organization is a plus.
