The Senior Associate, Client Service & Delivery is the person recognized as the primary client advocate in the aviation marketplace to represent the Willis Towers Watson Aerospace and coordinate parties on all sides to meet and understand each others agendas, appetites, and goals. The position requires and in-depth knowledge of the aviation insurance business, including experience with moderately complex placements. Travel and social interaction at industry events / meetings are also required.
The Senior Associate is responsible for quality of service and broking activity provided to clients so that their assigned book of business is profitable and to develop new business with existing and prospective clients. The associate is also responsible for collections, record keeping, and quality of service provided to clients so that the assigned book of business is profitable.
The Senior Associate Client Service & Delivery also monitors insurance and risk management needs, recommends appropriate coverage, and ensures that technical specialists are brought in when necessary. Leadership, mentoring and professional development of junior associates is also required.

The Role

Contacts existing clients to ensure quality service is being delivered

Identifies and monitors insurance and risk management needs of prospective or current clients

Conducts needs assessment with current and potential customers

Facilitates new business through networking, prospecting and communicating with current clients

Identifies and presents appropriate services to client

Participates in targeted public relations activities

Maintains extensive market relationships

Develops account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with client

Prepares and delivers underwriting submissions

Facilitates claims management and loss control services coordination

Maintains account documentation and correspondence

Negotiates responsive programs and service agreement rates

Provides customer service, including resolving customer inquiries and problems

Establishes procedures for claims administration and loss prevention activity
The Requirements
-
10+ years experience within the insurance industry; preferred
-
Aviation industry experience; preferred
-
Property & Casualty licensed; required
-
In-depth knowledge of Aviation Insurance and/or Brokerage business; required

Technical knowledge of product area and industry; General Aviation and Aerospace (Products, MROs, Airports)

Experience with complex insurance placements and management such as Quota Share, Excess of Loss, Large Loss Sensitive

Experience with claims resolution facilitation
