The National Medicare Sales team at Anthem is looking to hire a Director of Strategy and Program Sales Support.

This people manager will be responsible for developing and implementing short and long term strategies for profitable growth and improving business performance in support of the Medicare Sales teams.

Areas of responsibility include: compensation and commission strategies, Annual Election Period readiness, member experience monitoring through town halls and disenrollment/CTM reporting, working with our matrix partner to improve the member and agent experience and work to ensure sales teams are supported.

(This position can work remotely from any US Anthem location)

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Oversees planning, developing, monitoring, coordinating, and executing of business unit/market annual strategic plan including financial performance, operational performance, and on-going deliverables.

Analyzes, researches, and develops complex business materials and documents relating to health issues, business performance, market dynamics, operational issues, and general business plan issues.

Acts as liaison to shared services partners to ensure efficient and seamless business management and development.

Executes on all internal business planning functions.

Manages tactical plans of business unit objectives and ensures cross functional teams achieve targeted measures.

Coordinates communication and implementation of key decisions of business unit.

Identifies and implements best practice sales support process.

Assist with competitive analysis on products, pricings, and network.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in a related field required; 10 years of management experience with significant project management, strategic planning and/or consulting experience in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly preferred experience:

-Deep Medicare experience

-Medicare Sales support such as sales readiness, Medicare sales compliance, CTM, SIP sales incentive and commission programs, P&P
