Client Services Director

The Client Services Director is responsible for driving profitable growth through solution-based selling while optimizing the mix of client services required to assure customer success.

Use your business and technical acumen to design and scope service offerings that will help customers reach their business objectives.

Build relationships of trust with the sales organization and partner ecosystem by helping these groups close their software deals with the right services attached.

Create the statement of work for each opportunity ensuring that Domo customers start their journey on the path to success.

The successful candidate will have a solid software professional services background and have a proven record of successful SaaS deployments.

You must be comfortable operating at the executive level and have polished relationship building and negotiation skills.

You will use these skills to quickly build credibility with customers, sales executives, and partners to accomplish the team’s objectives of driving profitability, growth, and higher renewal rates.

Key Responsibilities Act as an ambassador for the CS Organization and build relationships of trust with customers, partners, and the sales organization; Scope the correct services and create the statement of work documentation for opportunities within your defined book of business; Design new services offerings based on market signal; Negotiate internally and externally to ensure a solid pricing strategy is achieved with each sales opportunity; Work with partners to ensure they can successfully scope and sell Domo services; Work autonomously and make key decisions with limited information; Leverage operational metrics to identify areas for growth and proactively get involved in opportunities; Establish a cadence of clear and concise communication with others to efficiently achieve key objectives; Demonstrate strong organizational skills to effectively balance priorities and aggressive, customer-driven timelines.

Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client services capacity at a software company, 10yrs preferred; Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, data science or equivalent experience – master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience); Some experience in a sales, pre-sales, or sales support role.
