We are hiring a customer Service Rep for the City of Downey, Ca. 3PL Routing Experience (understands vendor compliance guides) NOT TRUCK ROUTING/Dispatching but submitting routing in retail portals for shipping instructions. Computer skills/knowledge MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Our WMS system is 3PL Central, so familiarity with it is a plus but not required. Will be interacting with our customers, must have effective verbal/written communication skills. Strong customer service skills in the logistics industry preferably. Maintains all paperwork and perform clerical work, answering phone calls, etc. Includes entering orders, printing/sorting/counting labels, batching and printing pick tickets, submit POs for routing, creating bills of ladings and all required documents. Fast learner Excellent organizational skills Accurate data-entry skills Ability to assess daily workflow and prioritize tasks. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while providing a high level of service. Manage daily open order report. Close end of day orders – send 945 report. Manage orders through internal WMS Route orders within ship window and INDC dates. Create BOL’s Schedule appointments with LTL and TL carriers General understanding of warehouse flow Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple accounts, daily communication with client, billing, etc. Ability to manage priorities in a timely and efficient manner within critical deadlines.
