We not only reward you financially, but give you challenging assignments and an encouraging work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.As a Field Engineer in Orange County, CA you will contribute to our team by:Field Operations:Assisting with surveying, testing, sample collection, drawing correction and filing, check material deliveriesAssisting with time keeping and cost control, inventory control, schedule checking, subcontractor monitoringAssisting with report preparation, safety inspections, submittal logging and processingObserving and reporting results of meeting, conducting site tours for visitorsMeasuring and confirming quantitiesOffice Operations:Preparing quantity take-offs, calling vendors and subcontractors for proposalsChecking drawings and specifications for completeness, discrepancies, etcAssisting with project record keeping, preparing shop drawings, assisting with cost control recordsObtaining permits and licenses, checking zoning and code requirements, designing temporary facilitiesArranging for utility services, conducting safety inspections and training, supervise punch-list activitiesExpediting material deliveries, assisting in documenting and preparing claimsVerifying work hours, materials and other elements necessary for updating database filesOther duties as assigned What you will bring to the role:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Construction Management1-3 years of relevant experienceInternships or experience in water infrastructure construction highly preferredPCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
