Main duties include performing routine maintenance checks, operation of mechanical or computer-operated trenching equipment.
At the same time always following strict safety regulations and guidelines.Operators perform a variety of tasks that promote the efficient trenching production on off-siteDuties and responsibilities include:Pre-fielding job sites to identifying potential roadblocks.Notes site setup plan.Identifies traffic management requirements.Marks and calls in required locate requests.Communicates roadblocks to supervisor.Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinerySetting up and preparing the equipmentActs a team lead to mentor and train Junior Machine OperatorsUsing machine equipment to complete tasksPerforming routine inspections of equipment needed to perform required tasks.Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed (blades, equipment replacements and upgrades.)
