Mechanical Assembler (2nd shift)

Job Summary

Working under direct supervision of production leads and limited direct supervision of production supervisors, assembles products in a manner that meets both the client’s design criteria and customer expectations. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

∙ Engineering Drawings- Retrieve BOM“s, sales / assembly drawings, and master comments from the QAD system and correctly interpret them. Evaluate product for correct performance and visual characteristics. ∙ Standard Operating Procedures – Correctly interpret DPMs, SOPs, TPs, and BVs located on client“s intranet. Input test results into the FPY database.

∙ Team Player- Work as part of a team to achieve departmental goals

∙ Safety Orientation and CBS – Manage work area in accordance to 5S principals. Apply continuous improvement techniques to the work area.

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

∙ Must be a high school graduate or equivalent/GED, and ability to read and write English. ∙ Must pass a basic Math and English test with 75% accuracy and dexterity test. Must be versatile, ∙ Computer usage to the point of data input.

∙ Familiarity with the use of pneumatic hand tools.

∙ Must be able to stand for long periods and repetitive motion.
