– straight to the machine, same machine throughout their shift (rarely do they switch), end of night we’re expected to clean up the area.
They will be monitoring HMI, quality checks every 30 minutes (visual inspection on packers
– whatever package we are putting the cans in
– quality, acceptable, look on bottom of can that the date code is accurate, packages that the date code is accurate, they will enter that into a computer, yes or no and enter date code
– ) or could be checking cans (visually) discoloration, etc.

we have glue pots that have to be filled.
(literally just pouring glue into a box) will complete basic data entry of their quality findings.

It’s an issue there and doesn’t need more of the same.
Training: Could just be the first week of shadows.
Then a few days where they run and operate with a FTE.
They also have two way radios so if ever in a bind, call someone.
Training will be on same shift.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and walk, stand, stoop, bend for their entire shift.
Skills: preventative/corrective maintenance, quality, machine operation, hmi Top Skills Details: preventative/corrective maintenance Additional Skills & Qualifications: HMI is preferred changeover experience required 2 years of machine operation Packaging machine operation a plus Any basic troubleshooting is a plus
