Construction Project Manager

Qualified supervisor capable of reading, writing, and conversing fluently in the English language on the job site and having the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor&039;s degree, preferably in civil engineering, architecture or construction management.

10 Hour & 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety Certification and shall maintain a current certificate Completed the course entitled "Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors." and shall maintain a current certificate.

Eight (8) years of combined experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer on similar size and type construction contracts ($1M to $10M) Preference for candidates with Department of Defense/Federal Project Experience Familiar with requirements of USACE EM 385-1-1 (US Army Corp of Engineers Health and Safety), and experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.

Competent with computers (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook) Competent with design drawings and specifications Cost Estimating capabilities Overall construction process knowledge.

Familiarity with the USACE Quality Control System (QCS) a plus Duties will include a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management for a General Contractor, including, but not limited to, Estimating, Project Planning, Bidding, Scope Reviews, Sub Contractor Procurement, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Client Relations, Safety Management and Project Close-Out.

Oversee daily construction activities at work site, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment and materials and progress of the project.

Candidate will supervise all personnel working on construction projects including superintendents, field staff and administrative staff.

Work with contractors to complete project with the given budget and timeframe.
