Division Overview Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities.

Work in press molding department producing thermoset compression molded parts of various sized and using hydraulic powered presses.
Press Machine Operatorsstart at $18.00 per hour.
Hubbell also offers incentive pay with 2nd shift differential of $1.50.
In addition, you will be eligible to receive a $1000retention bonus on the 90th day with Hubbell.

Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor 2.
Learn and understand standard operation of hydraulic power press.
3.
Place and weigh material into buckets, and place into hot presses Maximum Lifting Policy is 50 pounds.
4.
Remove parts from press in a safe manner, trim and deflash as instructed using hand-tools, inspect for product quality, and place/stack onto pallets.
Maximum Lifting Policy is 50 pounds.
5.
Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift through/put quantity requirements.
6.
Ask questions when unsure of work safety and through-put quantity requirements.
7.
Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
Skills and Experience EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent Education/Experience: 1.
No prior experience required.
2.
High school diploma preferred but not required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: 1.
Ability to follow instructions.
2.
Ability to work in a group environment, and ask for help when needed.
3.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
