– is a steel manufacturer and they’re looking for forklift operators/manufacturing drivers with experience operating a forklift with 10,000lbs or more.

The job description is listed below: Description: Responsible for operating a sit down 10,000 lb forklift daily Responsible for operating a side loader (will be trained) Moving steel tubing anywhere from 6ft long to 20 ft long Transport and stack material in a safe manner Remove and deliver finished material to and from the mills and deburrs to the warehouse on a timely basis Move scrap out to designated disposal point or inspection holding area Pull production tags, from material and inform supervisor of material which have no tags or incorrect tags Utilizing RF scanner daily Change propane tanks on forklifts Assist in mill change overs as needed Assist in end spraying material Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift 2nd shift 3pm-11pm 3rd shift 11pm
– 7am Must be willing to train on a 1st shift 7am-3pm Candidates must be open to working 50 hours and weekend when needed.

Sundays are very rare.

After they have trained for 15-30 days then they will be required to work the Forced Over OT due to someone calling off.

Will know 30 minutes prior to shift ending if they need to work 4 hours OT due to someone calling off Starting pay is $20.62 Candidates will be on contract for 480 working hours and then go into the United Steel Worked Union.
