Our client is looking for an Assembly / Machine Operator in the Torrington area.
Contract to Hire.
$16-$18 per hour, plus benefits package.
Pay based on experience.Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (until 3:30 during OT) with a one-hour lunch break.You will be under the direction of the lead / supervisors.
Your responsibilities for the following…Set ups on a variety of assembly department equipmentDiagnose / Troubleshoot a wide variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipmentEffectively and efficiently train new employees Must have knowledge of various tools to measure/gaging to assure product conforms to required specifications.
Participate in and implement continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and streamline processes to increase productivity and quality.Must maintain a clean, orderly work environment.Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
