Yelp: Senior Manager, Executive Administrative Team (Remote)

Yelp is looking for a dynamic and proven leader to manage our Executive Assistant (EA) organization.

Our EA team is an essential function in achieving Yelp’s mission by supporting our senior leaders and top executives.

This team is a centralized organization rolling into our Culture team, where EAs report into one EA Manager while still partnering closely with their Executives daily.

This structure incentivizes knowledge sharing, efficient communication, and teamwork while prioritizing individual career development for the EAs.

We are looking for a candidate who has direct people management experience, feels passionately about the EA function and its impact on company culture, and is committed to building lasting relationships and developing people.This is a full-time remote role based in the United States however we are ideally look for candidates either located in the West Coast or within a Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.#LI-RemoteWhere You Come In:You’ll lead a team of Executive Assistants with varying levels of experienceYou’ll support Admins effectiveness and successful development of their job responsibilities through dynamic coaching, mentorship, and advocacy, varying across the needs of each team memberYou’ll be teamwork oriented and foster a collaborative team environmentYou’ll establish and iterate on EA team brand, mission, vision, and values, and align those to company culture initiativesYou’ll collaborate with Chief Diversity Officer regularly on promoting employee engagement, inclusion and belonging in the workplace through support of our leadership teamYou’ll coordinate and run EA team meetingsYou’ll communicate job and performance expectations through consolidation, synthesis, and delivery of performance feedback during performance conversations and promotion cyclesYou’ll manage operational responsibilities, including but not limited to weekly time card approvals, time-off requests, maintenance of team documents/resources, expense tracking/approvals and annual budgetingYou’ll successfully handle a high volume of work and balance priorities to meet established deadlinesYou’ll establish and foster positive long-term relationships with internal/external customers/business partnersYou’ll conduct ongoing needs analysis and tactfully identifying opportunities for process improvementsYou’ll plan and execute special projects such as departmental or company events, offsite meetings, and team-buildingsYou’ll support at least one executive in addition to managing the Executive Administrative teamYou’ll perform additional project work and other duties as assignedWhat it Takes to Succeed:You have 5+ years management experience (preferably managing a team of administrative roles)You have 10+ years Executive Assistant experience supporting a variety of Executives and teamsYou have experience coaching on administrative and executive support tasks and projects, communicating effectively with varying personalities and stylesYou have proven ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, including senior managementYou have worked collaboratively with or have lead employee engagement initiatives across a department or organization (offsite planning, conference planning, company-wide events)You have designed or supported the initiatives that reinforce diversity, inclusion and belonging in the workplaceYou have an interest to network within the EA industry to gain insight on how to stay competitive and relevantYou have experience in internal communications at a company-wide levelYou readily adapt personal, interpersonal, and leadership behavior, understanding that different situations may call for different approachesYou are a creative problem solver with impeccable organizational skills, time management skills, and an ability to adapt to changeWhat You’ll Get:Available your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental (Employee-only plans available at no cost to the employee)15 days PTO per year for first 2 years of employment (accrual begins on date of hire); number of PTO days increases after 2 years of tenure, 5 paid wellness days, 12 paid holidays, 1 floating holidayUp to 14 weeks of parental leaveMonthly wellness reimbursementHealth Savings, Flexible Spending and Dependent Care accounts401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matchEmployee stock purchase plan#LI-RemoteAt Yelp, we believe that diversity is an expression of all the unique characteristics that make us human: race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, and education — and those are just a few.
