High end salon in the heart of Miracle Mile, (Mid-City) Los Angeles, CA, The Hair Parlor on 8th, is looking to hire a Salon Assistant/Salon Coordinator.
You must be LICENSED in California for Cosmetology.

This is a position for an entry level assistant.
You will be trained to be a stylist and colorist and the opportunity for a stylist/colorist position on the future.
Duties include washing hair, blow-drys, toning, basic color applications, cleaning, handling clients and phone calls.
The salon owner and stylists will train you, teach you, show you and guide you.
What is needed is a hard working, motivated individual, who is excellent with people and handling many tasks at once.
Must be willing to clean.
Must be professional in demeanor and able to hold and keep a schedule.
This is a job for someone who is helpful.
The hours are approximately 10:30am-7pm Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 9-5.
Hours may vary.
40 hours a week plus any overtime.
Best if you live close by.
You will be on payroll and be trained to get in the chair with your own clients.
We are looking for someone to keep up their education and work well alongside fellow stylists.
This is a no drama salon and environment that is kept professional and friendly at all times.
