She/he/they collaborates with various departments including Quality Assurance, Training, Administration, Human Resources, and Facilities Management.
This role requires an energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking team player, as the IT Administrative Assistant supports all of our programs and departments, which entails interacting with all of our employees.
The IT Administrative Assistant also acts as a liaison to vendors, IT Support companies, and IT representatives from the Counties with whom we contract.

In addition to the primary office located in Berkeley, the IT Administrative Assistant will regularly travel to our branch offices in Alameda, San Francisco, Solano, and Santa Cruz counties, as well as other locations as required.Competencies required/desired:High School diploma; Bachelors Degree strongly preferredAbility to quickly gain understanding of new software and concepts of a technical natureCollaborative can-do attitude with a commitment to exemplary customer serviceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially writtenAbility to interface with non-technical users to coach and guide improvement of skillsOutstanding organizational skills Ability to coordinate technician, vendor, and user availability to schedule tasks and projectsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite a must.
iOS experience preferred Please note that MacOS experience is not an adequate substitute for Windows knowledgeBasic familiarity with Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory strongly preferredUnderstanding of HIPAA compliance regulations and electronic security best practices within a healthcare settingAbility to track multiple projects, tasks, and goals both with and without the aid of written or digital remindersUnderstanding of basic networking concepts from street to workstationExcellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills and great attention to detailDuties and Key Responsibilities: Under the Direction of the IT Manager, and indirectly the Director of IT and Data Systems, the IT Administrator is responsible for the following:Working with internal staff and with external vendors and IT Support companies to ensure that our IT and telecommunications infrastructure (including, servers, computers, routers, cellular phones and VoiP/land-lines) remain functional and up to dateProviding technical support to agency users by:Leading onboarding orientation/training for new hires, and assisting with ongoing user training and skill acquisitionCreating and managing user accounts in multiple systems, ensuring accurate information and levels of accessMaintaining inventory of all company IT equipment Understanding and helping enforce policies and procedures related to equipment usage, privacy, and security, and alert relevant parties when violations occurTriage and escalate helpdesk requests to relevant technicians or outside parties Creating distributable training materials for common user inquiriesAssisting with reporting activities with multiple technology systemsLiaise with facilities and operations to advance projects at locations around the Bay Area.
