Major Responsibilities:Operation of EPIC and Penrad, Active fax, and onbase Systems.Ability to input patient data for scheduling purposes into IDX.Education/Experience Required:High School diploma or equivalent.
AA Degree preferred1-3yrs of relevant experience in a registration or scheduling capacity.6mths-1yr computer usage experience.Good communication and organizational skills required.Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.Strong keyboarding and computer skills necessary.Proper phone etiquette required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Data entry experience.Some computer knowledge helpful.Strong keyboarding and computer skills.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to be flexible.

Must be conscientious.
Ability to work and communicate well with physicians, patients and internal departments.If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
