Administrative Assistant (Executive Benefits)

Aon is looking for an Administrative AssistantThe Administrative Assistant (AA) provides administrative support to a team of colleagues within a workgroup, practice area, or client team.

Support ranges from clerical and logistical matters to document production and the effective use of office applications.The AA responds promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations.

Additionally, the AA possesses the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources, clients (where applicable), and other parties in a global and virtual working environment.

The AA is integral to the efficient workflow within the office environment.Job Responsibilities:Retrieve, maintain and prepare a variety of reports for the Executive Benefits Business (EXB)Daily interaction with internal and external executive leaders as well as their AAsSchedules, and coordinates meetings, via Webex Teams or in person securing room reservations and food ordering/delivery, if necessaryActs as a key resource for the team (e.g., independently seeks out answers to questions, takes initiative, leverages network of resources to solve problems)Performs Internet researchAssists with overflow work from Administrative and Executive AssistantsWorks as an effective team member by contributing toward sickness and holiday coverage when necessaryPrepares and produces presentations and correspondence, graphic presentations, and other documents, including editing for grammar, punctuation, and claritySubmits printing requests for meetings and other needs as necessary; ensures accuracy of printed materials before distributionMaintains files, databases, or SharePoint sites as appropriatePrepares and submits expense reportsRecords time accurately and submits according to corporate guidelinesPrioritizes work, makes measurable progress on assignments, and delivers quality resultsThis list is not all-inclusive; other tasks may vary based on business needYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseDisplays excellent customer service skills and attention to detailProficient writing skills-grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreadingAbility to communicate effectively and professionallySelf-motivated team player with ability to work independently under minimal supervisionDemonstrable organizational skillsProfessional appearance and demeanor in a business casual environment; dress for the situationDemonstrates discretion on highly confidential mattersAbility to interact effectively with clients, team members and executive leadershipRequired Experience:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceIntermediate-level computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and other programs, as applicableEducation:High school diploma or equivalentWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; medical, dental and vision insurance, various types of leaves of absence, paid time off, including sick days and vacation days, short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD insurance; optional personal insurance policies, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, and an employee assistance program that includes free counseling sessions.
