Administrative Assistant

POSITION SUMMARYThe SNF Administrative Assistant provides high-level support for the SNF Administrator through efficient facilitation, and coordination of the Administrative office on a daily basis.

The SNF Administrative Assistant may prepare statistical reports, handle confidential information, and perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONSThis position requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

Two or more years’ experience with insurance procedures and contracts.

Must possess excellent computer and communication skills and the ability to interact with people in all levels of the organization.JOB DUTIES:Compiles statistical data from a variety of sources for the purpose of providing summaries to other personnel, and/or ensuring compliance with established guidelinesSetting appointments, arranging meetings, and maintaining calendarsPreparing correspondence and documentsFiling, typing, and using computer software with emphasis on basic word processing and spreadsheet applicationsCommunicating with employees and managementProviding clerical support to other departmentsAnswering questions, opening mail, receiving and transferring phone callsCoordinating special projects as directedRead and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distributionOpen, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emailFile and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reportsCompile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees and boards of directorsAttend meetings to record minutesSet up and oversee administrative policies and procedures for offices or organizationsInterpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees
