Administrative Assistant

Functional Area: Operations and Accounting 

Location: Gardena, CA 

Overview: We are looking for someone with basic accounting knowledge, professionalism, and problem-solving skills for this Administrative Assistant position to play a key role in Orangewood’s day-to-day operation as well as long-term success. This position will work closely with the Operations and Sales departments and report directly to Operations & Sales Manager. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the organization runs smoothly 
  • Perform basic AR/AP accounting & payroll duties 
  • Perform order processing and assist shipping needs for B2B and D2C orders 
  • Answer and direct calls 
  • Provide general support to customers via email, phone, etc. 
  • Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner 
  • Bill and process payments for retail partners 
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly 
  • Perform general office management duties 
  • Create reports and update company dashboards with key metrics 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience is a plus 
  • Superior organizational skills and detail orientation 
  • Drive to solve problems and confidence to take ownership over projects 
  • Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • High level of interpersonal maturity, poise, and professionalism 
  • Team player who demonstrates a positive attitude, energy, entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to collaboration, and sense of humor 
  • Command of Microsoft Office suite and other databases 
  • Tech savvy 
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other ERP software is a plus 
  • Interest and passion in music is a plus 
  • Bachelor?s degree
