The VP, Commercial Treasury Management will drive the execution engine of the treasury and commercial capabilities for commercial technology solutions for large commercial banking functions such as cash management, treasury services, payments, and more to support our clients needs and foster growth.
You will champion sales in order to optimize client satisfaction, financial performance, and colleague engagement.
As VP, Commercial Treasury Management, you can look forward to:
Managing the full life-cycle of technical product sales, delivery, and support for a technical commercial product offering.
In this role, you will develop commercial offerings through partnerships with product management, product development, and awareness of the market needs.
Tasks to success include:
Establish clarity about product position in the market and functionality
Through partnerships with our strategy and marketing team, own and drive the market messaging Maintain a close partnership with product management to provide input and feedback to the priorities and solutions included on the roadmaps for both short and long-term growth potential
Through partnerships and organic growth, add new commercial capabilities and skills to the current teams to better meet client needs
Partner with global sales teams to help win new clients; partnership with the cross-sales teams to ensure that we meet sales, revenue and operating income annual targets
Ensure new sales and cross-sales targets are met
Will have accountability for sales, revenue and operating income for the business segment revenue, providing accurate forecasting of sales pipeline with demonstrated success of converting active pipeline into sales
Understand measures of success including wallet share, revenue per client, products per client, price expansion and compression
Routinely engage with clients and the market more broadly to convey the capabilities and the future vision through various channels.
Ensure standard methodologies for implementing and supporting the commercial products by partnering with leadership to ensure:
Implementation streamlined and perfected for on time, on budget, with minimal defects
Meet or exceed the client satisfaction survey target metrics
Create routines for root cause analysis to improve and perfect the implementation processes
Meet all service level agreements for supporting the clients post implementation
Manage and review incident management and disaster recovery procedures
Ensure all compliance requirements are met
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
MBA strongly preferred.
Job Related Experience:
10+ years progressive experience leading teams
10 years experience includes: product management, managing a P&L and driving transformational change
Demonstrated track record of outstanding leadership and execution while possessing the following experiences and characteristics:
A track record of proven success in adding value to an organization
An ability and willingness to forge strong working relationships across multiple areas across the company
Strong leadership skills coupled with strong business acumen and an unwavering commitment to quality and positive client experience.
Travel required : 20% (varies)
Preferred qualifications for consideration :
Strong knowledge of banking and treasury product management
Past experience working in a technical /matrix organization
